We could think that it’s not easy to remember the bunch of activities that we do as a humans; but contradictory, the life in the big cities is monotonous; therefore if we do a little bit effort we will be available to remember our diary, as I will try to do.
Monday
I woke up, I got breakfast, I prepared my lunch, I took my bike and I went to my French class, I went out, I went to the gym and around there I met an interesting guy. We were chatting for a while about trips, social issues, and cultural topics and so on. I ran up fast because I was over time for my English class. I arrived there and then I biked to my home. I got shower, I got supper I red and I went to bed.
Tuesday
I woke up, I prepared my meals and I went to Viveros Park with my parents then I went to my French class and I back home for reading until the meal. After that, I was sending emails, and at night I chatted with a Goucher student.
Wednesday

Thursday

A Request Letter
To whom it may concern.
Who needs a supermarket?
Taking away playgrounds, eliminating activities for old people, taking out the trails for teen bikers and adult runners from the traditional “Juarez Park” is not a good idea. Actually, instead of building a Supermarket in the parks’ area, it will be a better idea to plant more trees and support the activities for children.
Since 2006, the “Instituto de Apoyo a los Adultos” has been offering many programs for adults, such as: dancing classes, cooking, literature, history, music etc; also the “ Insituto para el Desarrollo de los Jovenes” has been using the Park to perform plays and workshops.
Sports activities that take place there are very good ways to keep drugs away from people of any age. In general, they go often to that park to do many activities and spend some time there. They enjoy plenty visiting the park because they say it is very safe and peaceful.
I wrote these lines just to give you a picture of the importance of the “Juarez Park”. My neighbors and I signed this letter as a request for not to build a supermarket in the park area at all.
Sincerely
Aaraón Díaz

Profile
Hello, I am Aaraón,
I studied communications, and recently I got my Master's Degree in Social Work. My research was related with migrants in Canada. I will keep working in this topic. I have many passions, like sports, arts and travels. I enjoy running, biking and swimming. I use to run marathons and run up buildings, I ran twice at the Empire State Building. I try to use the bike as transportation, it is not easy but I am still alive. I would love to do the Ironman… I will see. I believe art must be experienced by everybody. I enjoy it in their different ways. Try the different expressions of art and you wouldn’t let them go. I just want to explore the world; our country is not the only one out there. Let's remove the boundaries. I love to travel but not as a tourist, I rather experience life as a local. I am finishing my second documentary, a sequel from the first one, “Migrants: those who come from within”. The second one, has no title yet.

Expectations
My expectations are related with two matters: academicals and socials.
First of all, writing to me represents a big challenge because it is one of my big weaknesses. For many years I have been trying to improve, but always I have not succeeded. I usually give up or get bored in English courses.
Secondly, writing is very important because if I improve it I would be able to study my Ph D in England or even Canada. In these countries writing in English is mandatory and the level in the universities is really high.
On the other hand, I would love to use my speaking skills in the classroom as a tool to socialize and probably make friends. I always have been enjoying learning and talking with other people from different backgrounds.

A letter to a Canadian
This letter is a big challenge to me because Canada and Canadians themselves represent a lot in my life. Actually, one of the happiest moments in my life happened in Algonquin Park, one of my favorite places in North America. I will never forget my encounter with a huge moose, his palmate antlers making noises and his beautiful eyes watching me carefully.
But also I can talk about dancing salsa with my Canadian friends or speaking in a lecture with a Niagara-on-the Lake neighborhood or in some universities all over Ontario, or about the ways of multiculturalism. Anyway, the list could be as long as going all the way from Mexico to Northwest Territories but I will stop now just to let you start your own list about Mexico. This country could offer you, as a citizen from other country, a perspective of life that is very difficult to find in Canada or other countries.
Just as a piece of advice, to colorful your list, I will recommend you some places in Mexico. First of all visit the University campus, secondly Av. Reforma and the Zocalo area. Xochimilco could be very interesting and the Frida Kahlo and Dolores Olmedo museums, too. Visit the downtown in Coyoacan, San Angel and Tlalpan, either one. Taste mole, pozole, quesadillas and pambazos and whatch and try to understand everything.
I wish you could remember your trip to Mexico as a gift of knowledge, experience and sensitivity. I would love that your Mexican trip memories fill you with joy every day, just like my Canadian memories do.
Sincerely
Aaraón
